Source: Google Sans Flex v5.000, official Google Fonts release. Original file: GoogleSansFlex[ROND,opsz,slnt,wdth,wght].ttf. Original SHA-256: a9ac770798857d5e8ac593ced42b22e40a7c08cec98319f92b0eccc2783a77ba.
Licensed under SIL OFL 1.1; see OFL-GoogleSansFlex.txt. No reserved font names. The current official release has five variable axes; GRAD is described upstream but is not present in the release binary.
The self-hosted WOFF2 retains Latin/extended Latin, supported Greek/math, punctuation, symbols and arrows. Unsupported glyphs use the normal sans-serif fallback. It keeps these ranges: wght 350–700, wdth 95–108, opsz 10–72, ROND 0–60, slnt −6–0. FontTools subsets the original before partially instancing those ranges and encoding WOFF2 with Brotli; all five axes remain variable. Use the shared CSS font token and typography role sheet rather than creating more local font families.
